Mission statement
AlterSpark aims to strengthen client's relationships with their target audiences though creativity, a range of empirically grounded services, and a constant effort to stay on top of the latest trends.

 

Values

  • The internet is about people, not computers. We believe that digital networks support human networks, and that all technical solutions are secondary to human considerations.
  • The Internet playing-field is constantly changing. We believe that effective outreach means staying on top of demographic trends in order to know where to reach clients' target audiences, with the least effort, in the most appropriate way.
  • The Internet playing field is saturated and competition for customers' attention is high. We believe that successful online positioning requires a series of sort-term activities that are unified by long-term visions. For this reason, we prefer to teach our clients how to build online outreach into their daily routines while also tracking their progress over the long-term.
  • Each year, the private sector spends millions to develop new way to engage online customers and increasing sales. We believe the principles of private sector online marketing should be used to market social causes online.
  • Website users are heavily influenced by visuals and branding. In other words, users are more likely to trust information or purchase products from a website that appears credible. We believe it is essential to understand web users' perceptions in order to develop short-term credible and persuasive website designs, while fostering long-term trust through honest and ethical practices.
  • Project managers who ‘fail to plan' are ‘planning to fail'. For this reason, we believe all successful projects are the outcomes of careful planning, research and creativity. We prefer to spend more time up-front getting our projects correct, and then quickly implement our projects.
  • Although we're glad to provide full website management services when required, we believe in educating our customers with the skills they'll need to manage their online assets, and an understanding of the Internet playing field that will help them to reach their goals.
  • A number of companies hold ambiguous ownership over intellectual properties and may force clients to pay royalties for years to come. We believe that ownership of digital assets is the right of the purchaser, not the producer. For this reason, upon fulfillment of all contract obligations, we pass ownership of all intellectual properties to our clients.
