Publishing blind?
Organizations produce publications for many reasons. Publications can help organizations to meet their mandates, reach new goals, or satisfy the needs of their market segment.
Considerable time and effort goes into producing books, reports, newsletters, annual reports, booklets, white papers, and policy documents. Behind each publication, staff may have invested countless hours to plan, research, write, edit, rewrite, and gain internal approvals. Moreover, the final steps can be just as demanding, when organizations invest more time in graphic design, layout, printing, and distribution.
Despite this expensive effort, many organizations do not know the impact of their work. They do not know who is reading their materials, how readers feel about their works, or how their readership varies from publication to publication.

Our approach
We will guide you through a structured process that will begin with initial consultations, then move onto project design, and then progress to running a preliminary pilot study. During this time, we will tailor the publication and audience study to your organization’s unique context and needs. We’ll do all the work and consult with you at key moments. Afterwards, we will conduct the study, deliver the final report, and discuss the findings with you. Any subsequent monitoring can repeat or extend the initial study.
