Select lessons

Our entire training system consists of 6-days training, with over 80 lessons, broken down into small learning segments, each with a combination of theory, reinforcement exercises, and practical applications.

Our content is grounded in science but presented with lots of pictures, and fun experiential learning, which makes for a well-rounded learning experience.

Step 3

Pick your format

In most cases, students love our default approach. We’ve spent years optimizing the format, which blends significant content, with experiential learning, group exercises, hands-on design challenges, and behavioral science games. It’s a good format for covering a lot of content while keeping participants engaged.

However, we’re happy to adapt the format to different styles. If you prefer a traditional classroom setting, no problem. If you prefer a  hands-on approach, that’s ok too. And if you prefer behavioral science design sprints, that’s also good.

We’re flexible. However, here are the three most common formats:

Interactive Classroom

1. Standard Interactive Classroom

This is our standard workshop, which we’ve optimized over several years. It’s heavy on content but structured with a blend of hands-on exercises, discussions, and learning activities that keeps participants engaged, focused, and in an optimal learning mode.

2. Standard + Design Challenges

In this edition, we’ll map your platforms, personas, and challenges, then run the class with a blend of modules and design challenges that often lead to breakthrough designs that you can take back to the office and implement the next day. 


3. Hackathon or Design Sprint

If your team prefers building, our hackathon or design sprint editions are a good option. Whereas our hackathon edition is more about small group challenges, our design sprint edition is more about using behavioral science to solve one big challenge.

Our hackathon edition workshops cost 15% more, to cover the extensive up-front work.
